Inclinometers

RST Instruments’ various inclinometer tools allow for lateral ground displacement monitoring in a variety of geotechnical applications.

Displacement measurements from inclinometers can be used to determine the stability of a slope, the rate of ground creep, or shear zone movement, and allow assessment of the adequacy of ground supports before embarking on a major construction project.

Adequate ground support is essential for almost any major construction, whether it be a dam, retaining wall, pit mine, or other load-bearing structure.

MEMS Digital In-Place Inclinometer System

RST’s new, MEMS Digital In-Place Inclinometer (IPI) System is designed to reliably measure lateral movement in and around dams, embankments, landfills, landslides, piles, piers, retaining walls, and abutments, particularly when continuous remote monitoring is required.

Digital MEMS Inclinometer System

For measuring any lateral movement down in the earth, via inclinometer casing, the Digital MEMS Inclinometer System from RST Instruments Ltd. was the first, and is still the best, Digital MEMS Inclinometer System available

Digital Inclinometer Spiral Sensor

The RST Digital MEMS Inclinometer Spiral Sensor is used to determine down-hole helical deformation of installed inclinometer casing.

Digital Horizontal Inclinometer System

The Digital Horizontal Inclinometer System measures settlement or heave under embankments, dams, roadways, storage tanks, and landfills.
